Petit Fiancé

Marie-Suzanne and Philippe Garros have developed unique, innovative cheeses with a remarkable identity.

In the Pyrenees, deep in a valley of the Ariège department, the famous Cabrioulet cheese dairy was created over thirty years ago.
Marie-Suzanne and Philippe Garros have developed unique, innovative cheeses with a remarkable identity. They produce their goat’s milk here, and transform it into nuggets, some of which have become emblematic. Le Petit Fiancé takes its name from their meeting a long time ago. They recently passed the torch on to ……., who will hopefully continue the tradition.

Le Petit Fiancé doesn’t look like a classic goat’s cheese, with its faded red rind and white down. It’s more like a little Reblochon. The paste is a beautiful, bright white, reflecting its goat origins. On the nose, the scent of the latter is clearly present, as it is on the palate, where it stands out as one of the raciest goats, particularly when the maturing process has done its work, delivering an unparalleled smoothness.
